Our Experience

An organisation faced an internal incident at their site and wanted to provide emotional support for their staff. They recruited employee assistance services in the form of on-site group support, one-off telephone counselling, signposting to other organisations, and short term face-to-face counselling where the need existed. A telephone helpline was also provided to managers who were handling challenging situations at work, in which management support was deemed beneficial. A broader Employee Assistance Programme then continued as the organisation wanted to demonstrate an on-going duty of care to their employees, whilst being able to effectively prioritise managers’ time.
